Life Skills Workshop (Teens)
Practical, real-world skills to build confident, capable young adults.
Service Description
This is a weekly drop-in workshop. Each Tuesday focuses on a different practical life skill. Teens can register for the weeks that interest them — there is no long-term commitment required. Life Skills Workshops for Teens (ages 13–17) are designed to equip youth with practical tools they can use immediately in everyday life. These structured, interactive sessions focus on building independence, responsibility, and confidence in a supportive and engaging environment. Topics rotate throughout the year and may include: • Communication and conflict resolution • Time management and organization • Budgeting basics and financial literacy • Goal setting and motivation • Decision-making and problem-solving • Job readiness and interview skills • Emotional regulation and stress management • Healthy boundaries and personal responsibility Sessions are hands-on and discussion-based, with real-life scenarios that allow teens to practice new skills in a safe and encouraging space. The goal is simple: help young people leave each session more confident, more capable, and better prepared for adulthood.

Cancellation Policy
Appointments (Tutoring, Respite, 1:1 Support) Cancellations and reschedules must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice, a late cancellation fee may apply (up to 50% of the session rate) or the session may be counted as used if booked through a package or plan. No-Shows and Late Arrivals If you do not arrive or join the session within 15 minutes of the start time without contacting us, the appointment is considered a no-show and is non-refundable. If you arrive late, the session will still end at the scheduled time to respect the next booking. Full session fees still apply. Workshops / Classes (Life Skills Workshop) Class registrations are transferable but not refundable within 24 hours of the session start time. If you cannot attend, please notify us as early as possible. When space allows, we may be able to move your registration to a future session at our discretion. Online Sessions For online sessions, clients are responsible for having a stable internet connection and a working device. If a session is interrupted due to client-side technical issues, the session may not be extended. Provider Cancellations If we need to cancel due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule at the earliest available time. Emergency Exceptions We understand emergencies happen. One (1) waived late cancellation per client may be granted within a 6-month period at our discretion.
